2024 Nutcracker Auditions

The Ballet Conservatory

1400 FM 407 in Lewisville, Tx. 

There is a specific time for each age group so please see the times on our audition flyer.

Dancers must be a minimum of 5 years old on the day of the audition.

Dancers must audition with their age group and that age is as of the audition (9-9-23)

Dancers who arrive too late to audition will not be able to audition with an older age group.

Dancers must be currently enrolled in ballet in order to be in The Nutcracker.

Ballet dancers from other studios are welcome to audition

We are looking for pointe dancers as well, and there are pointe roles for different levels of pointe. 

The panel will assign a non-pointe role if available if a dancer's pointe work

is not strong enough for one of our pointe roles.​

AUDITION TIMES: (please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your audition) *5 year olds must be 5 by the date of our audition: 9/7/24 *You must audition with your level, not necessarily your age. *If you are in doubt about which group to audition for, please email us at nutcracker@lakecitiesballet.org

 

11:45am -1:00pm Advanced Pointe and Advanced Men (A1 Ballet and Advanced) -Start with pointe shoes on. (Make sure you are warmed up prior to the audition.)

 

1:15pm - 2:00pm Ages 5-8 (Twinkle 5 year olds; Ballet 1 and Ballet 2)

 

2:15pm - 3:15pm Ages 9 to 12 (Ballet 1X and Ballet 3)

 

3:30pm - 4:30pm Ages 12 & up (Ballet 4; Teen Ballet; Ballet 5) -Bring pointe shoes into the audition with you if you are en pointe.

 

4:45pm - 5:30pm Callbacks for Clara/Fritz/Prince
